Screenshots and rundown of Thumb Shopper usage.

List Selection Screen

This the first screen you will see, it shows the lists you have set up already.

You can tap on a list (I tapped on Groceries) and then you can see the options for that list.

To add a new list click on 'New List' at the bottom right.

Menu on List Selection screen

From the 'List Selection' screen click on 'Menu' in the bottom right corner and this menu screen will be shown.

Here you can go to the 'About screen' which is where you enter your registration code, also from here you can go into the predefined Categories, Items and Units management screens. You can add Categories, Items and Units directly from the 'Add List Item' screen, but these management screens allow you to edit and delete predefined Categories, Items and Units.

About Screen

This is the about screen linked from the menu above, this screen will show you the remaining time on your demo, or allow you to enter your registration. Simply type the registration key into the text box in the middle of the screen and click 'register'.

Predefined Item Maintenance

From the Menu on the List Selection screen I have pressed 'Manage Items', this allows you to view and edit the Items predefined for each category. First choose the category by clicking the magnifying glass on the top right of the screen.

The list on this screen is touch enabled just like the others so if you have more items than fits on the screen, just touch on the list and slide it up or down.

To edit or delete a predefined item just tap on it to expand the options (like on the List Selection screen).

Main List Screen

This is the main checklist screen.

In blue you see the category which can expand or collapse. The icon to the left [-] indicates the category is expanded in this example, similarly it will show [+] when it is collapsed.. Also in this category line is a summary of the items set to the category, i.e. for 'Fruit/Veg' there are two items but neither are checked off, for 'Meat' there are also two but one has been checked off.

Down the bottom left you can add a new item to the checklist, on the bottom right you can bring up the list options screen.

Main List Screen

This is the main list screen again, in this sample I have added more items. As you can see, it is cut-off at the bottom, I don't waste screen real-estate with scroll bars, to scroll up or down just tap and hold on the screen and push up or down.

I have shown what happens if you tap on a list item, in this case I tapped on 'Coke', the item options are then presented (tick, edit or delete).

New List Item Entry Screen

From here you create a new item in your list. The button on the right (magnifying glass) lets you look up predefined categories or items, you can do this to save having to enter it. Or you can just type in a one off category/item. If you do type in a new category or item you can save these for re-use later by pressing the green plus on the left-hand side.

Quantity and units can also be added here for the list item, but these are not compulsory, and can be left blank if they are not relevant.

Pre-configured Items Popup

From the entry screen above, I chose Fruit/Veg in category and then clicked the lookup button for items and this shows the full screen lookup box, again it uses touch scrolling so no scroll bars needed..
